REACH and Coal Combustion Products
The REACH Regulation came into force on 1 June 2007. If Coal Combustion Products (CCPs) are placed on the market they have to be registered by the producer at the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). As CCPs are considered to be “Phase-in Substances“ the registration period is extended to 1 December 2010 if a pre-registration is performed in the period of 1 June to 1 December 2008.
ECOBA wants to invite all European producers and importers of CCPs to pre-register and register CCPs in a joint way. More details are given in the press release and the invitation letter
