14th International ACAA Symposium on Management & Use of CCPs

The 14th International ACAA Symposium on Management & Use of CCPs was held on January 22-26, 2001, in San Antonio, Texas. ECOBA was represented by Peter Brennan and Wolfgang vom Berg.

The objective of the Symposium is to publicize innovations in coal ash use technology. It supported ACAA to promote coal ash technology transfer and commercial utilization of CCPs.

The proceedings consists in a two-volume publication, which contains 82 papers, presented in 13 session during the January 2001 event. Volume 1 contains papers related to ammonia removal, agricultural uses, beneficiation/quality, ash characterization, concrete, flowable fill, geotechnical uses and innocative applications. Volume 2 covers manufactures products, mine application, marketing issues and regional state and international perspectives.
