MPEI Press Release on 1st International practical workhop on ash technology in Poland

The Moscow Power Engineering Institutes (MPEI) has informed on the 1st I International Workshop in Poland «A practice of Implementation of Technologies for Using Ashes from Power Generation» held October 26 - 29, 2010, Warsaw / Silesia. The workshop started after the UPS conference Ashes form Power plants and was specifially addressed to specialists from power companies, power plants, high schools and specialized organizations from Russia and the Ukraine dealing with CCPs processing. The workshop was to introduce the industrial experience on applied technologies of large-scale use and beneficiation of ash from power industry in Poland, especially in construction of roads, highways and bridges; for filling of mines; for ash removal in fluidized-bed boilers and for separation of the unburnt carbon from fly ash.
